Almost a year after I originally started this blog for my "future" child (who had yet to be conceived), here I am waiting for her arrival now. Pregnancy insomnia is a trip because it really is nature's way of telling you, "Hey, remember that sleep thing that you love so much? Well, you can forget about it now! Muahahaha!"
We officially have 19 days until our due date although I'm really hoping she arrives early for a few reasons:
- According to my doctor visit yesterday, she is weighing in at an estimated 7 lbs 14 oz.
- The doctor keeps commenting on her "good sized head"
- It would be nice to have a little space between her birthday & Christmas
- Although the pregnancy as a whole has been pretty easy, I'm not incredibly uncomfortable
- She moves around A LOT & it feels like my insides are constantly being jostled around
Either way, I know she will arrive in her own time but I really can't wait to meet her! What will she look like? What is her personality going to be? A parent can only dream that her child will only take the best traits from each parent but only time will tell.
So after a fun and relaxing vacation in Mammoth, we come home to return to the madness that is moving. We were very conflicted about the decision to stay or go but I think we made the right choice.
PROS: Bigger, brand new, cheaper, hated old management company, same amenities as current place
CONS: The hassle of moving
So as you can see, when laziness is the only excuse you have to not move, you don't have much of a choice. This also gives us an opportunity to do some "spring" cleaning to get rid of things we don't ever use but still insist on keeping....still don't know why.
So goodbye to our Fountain Park apartment.....our first home together as a married couple!! You will be missed but the strange residents and craziness in the middle of the night will not.
I told myself I wasn't going to create a blog until after I had kids but I was somehow encouraged by a co-worker so here I am. I don't know how many interesting things I have to say or show but hopefully it will entertain someone or make one person laugh who is having a bad day.
